How to Use
clustervps
Quick-start guides and in-depth technical documentation to help you unlock the full potential of Apple Silicon compute.
Hardware Infrastructure
clustervps delivers exclusively dedicated Apple Silicon M4 nodes. Every instance has its own CPU cores, GPU rendering units, and NVMe storage IOPS. We guarantee zero overselling and zero resource contention. You get truly dedicated bare-metal compute resources.
The M4 is built on TSMC's second-generation 3nm process with a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and 38 TOPS Neural Engine. Its key advantage is the Unified Memory Architecture (UMA) — CPU, GPU, and Neural Engine share the same high-bandwidth memory pool (120 GB/s), eliminating the latency bottleneck caused by memory copying in traditional architectures.
All configurations include a dedicated 1 Gbps uplink with dynamic path selection via BGP. The Hong Kong node provides a direct CN2 GIA connection to mainland China. The Singapore node connects to Equinix SG1, a top-tier global internet exchange. The Tokyo node uses dual premium NTT/KDDI links.
In addition to the standard built-in NVMe (256GB or 512GB), you can add high-speed SSD expansion at purchase: +1TB ($12.5/mo) or +2TB ($25.4/mo). Expansion storage shares the same high-IOPS performance tier as the primary drive, ideal for large-scale dataset AI training.
Connectivity & Security
After deployment, a dedicated public IPv4 is automatically assigned. Find your instance in the console and click the SSH command field to copy it. Connect using any standard OpenSSH client:
ssh username@your_ip. For security, the password is only visible after an interactive click — we recommend switching to SSH key authentication after first login.
The console provides a one-click web-based noVNC client. No software installation required — access a high-performance remote desktop directly in your browser. Standard macOS Screen Sharing (VNC) protocol is also supported via Finder → Connect to Server.
The M4 chip has a dedicated Secure Enclave co-processor for key management, biometric verification, and cryptographic operations. Even if the main OS is compromised, key material stored in the Secure Enclave cannot be extracted. This provides enterprise-grade hardware security for your compute resources.
Billing & Lifecycle
clustervps offers four flexible billing cycles:
• Daily: Ideal for short-term testing. M4 16GB at $21.2/day
• Weekly: Short projects. M4 16GB at $57.2/week
• Monthly: Standard plan. M4 16GB at $105.9/month
• Quarterly: Best for production environments with better pricing

After payment, the system automatically triggers the instance provisioning process. This typically completes in 3–5 minutes, and SSH credentials and the access IP will appear directly in the console. You will receive an email notification, or simply refresh the console to check the instance status.
The Billing Center in the console shows your current order status and expiration date. Direct renewal is not yet supported in the console — to continue, re-order from the purchase page after expiration. To upgrade to a higher spec (e.g., 16GB to 24GB), submit a technical ticket and we will assist with migration while preserving your data.
